Bluebellied jungleberry (Rubus caesius L.)

Blueberry is a perennial semi-shrub of the rose-flower family with a height of 60-150 cm with creeping spiky shoots. The fruit is a black or black-red picking knuckle, ripening in July - August. Blueberry grows everywhere in forests, at the edges of forests and along the banks of rivers. Fruits, young leaves and twigs, less often roots are used. The berries contain: sugars, organic acids, vitamins C, B, carotene, a large amount of salts of potassium, copper, iron, magnesium, calcium and manganese, aromatic, pectin and tannins; the leaves contain tannin, flavonoids, phytoncides, vitamins C, E and carotene.

Blueberry has astringent, antipyretic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anthelmintic, antiseptic, sedative, styptic, styptic, styptic and wound healing properties.

Blackberry leaf extract in experiment has a strong antiviral effect against herpes virus and a moderate cytotoxic effect (B. Petkov).

Prolonged intake of leaf tea improves metabolism and blood composition. Fresh fruit or juice is an excellent multivitamin general tonic and is widely used to quench thirst at high temperatures, like raspberries - a tablespoon of berries or jam to a glass of water (G. М. Sviridonov).

Bilberry is used in folk medicine in many countries for bronchitis, pneumonia, diseases of the upper respiratory tract, liver, kidney and bladder, anemia, influenza, colds, diabetes, dropsy, gastritis, enterocolitis, diarrhea, dysentery, allergic diarrhea, joint diseases, etc. д.

Mature blackberries have a loosening effect, and unripe fruit - astringent and styptic effect. Н. Г. Kovaleva used oblique tops with flowers as an astringent for food toxic infections, dysentery and sometimes for peptic ulcer disease.

A good remedy is considered an infusion of flowers and decoction of branches and roots for sore throat (drink and gargle the throat) and painful periods. With bleeding and weak digestion 100 g of blackberry root boiled in 0.5 liters of water to fall by half, strain and mix with an equal amount of aged red wine (N. Г. Kovalev).

In diabetes recommend blackberry along with ash bark, horsetail grass, valerian root in equal parts; 6-8 g of the mixture brewed 1 liter of boiling water, insist and used in hot and cold. In France, 800 g of 10% decoction of blackberry leaves and 200 g of fruit juice are used for gargling the throat.

In the Caucasus are treated with a decoction of roots for colds and hemorrhoids (drink and make baths), leaves are chewed, and decoction of roots rinse the mouth for gum disease. Л. О. Pavlenko recommends that when nervous tension daily use tea from dried blackberry leaves. А. 3. Rykovtsev (d. Kiev) reported on his use of herbal tea instead of ordinary tea, consisting of leaves of blackberry, black currant, strawberry, mint, molasses, herbs oregano, thyme and linden flowers - equal parts of each; 4-5 st. spoonfuls of the mixture steamed in 1 liter of boiling water, insist in warmth for 1 hour, take 1 cup 3 times a day as a pleasant tonic drink.

Crushed fresh leaves in the form of soaks applied to scars, wounds, trophic ulcers, as well as eczema.

Methods of application:


1. Infusion (decoction) of leaves or root of blackberry 10% - 1/2 cup 3-4 times a day as diaphoretic, diuretic, astringent.


2. Tincture of 10% of berries on 40% alcohol - 50 g per reception at hypothermia of the body (A. П. Popov).


3. 5% decoction of blackberry root - 1 tbsp. spoonful in 2 h as a diuretic for dropsy (N. Г. Kovalev).


4. 5% infusion (decoction) of blackberry leaves - for external use in sore throats, rashes.


5. Collection of 2 parts of blackberry leaves and 1 part of marigold flowers; 4 h. spoonfuls of the mixture insist in 1.5 cups of boiling water - 0.5 cup 3 times a day for inflammation of the intestines.



Field larkspur (Delphinium consolida L.)


Mosquito spouts, kosariki, ukr.: sokirki, magpie legs. The plant is poisonous, prescribed by a doctor.

An annual of the buttercup family. It blooms from June through fall. Grows ubiquitously as a weed in fields, crops, weedy areas, plantings, and along roadsides.

The herb is used, which contains delphinin and other alkaloids, aconitic acid, glycosides and coloring agents. Stomach preparations have sedative, diuretic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anthelmintic, choleretic and curare-like (causes relaxation of skeletal muscles) effects.

Livewax field - used in folk medicine for pleurisy, pneumonia, migraine, headache, whooping cough, hepatitis, jaundice, general poor gastrointestinal health, fright, cramps, colic, fever, diseases of the genitourinary organs, urinary retention, prostate hypertrophy, bleeding and other diseases.

Zhivokstva field used externally - lotions for inflammation of the eyes with suppuration, ointment from flowers - with scabies. Seed powder is used to kill insects.

Methods of application:


1. 1-2 ч. spoonfuls of herbs insist in 2-3 cups of boiling water for 8 hours in a warm place - 0.5 cup 4 times a day as a choleretic.
