Treatment of candidiasis with tea mushroom. Modern recipes and the use of natural medicine in phytotherapy

Candidiasis - this disease is characterized by itching, more or less pronounced, sometimes a burning sensation and discharge, not abundant and without a pungent odor. Symptoms of thrush usually appear a week before menstruation.

The symptoms of candidiasis, namely severe itching, are more pronounced in women prone to allergies. Usually the itching gets worse in the evening and in warmth (after a bath, in bed), sometimes interferes with sleep. The discharge is usually thick, white in color, creamy or curd-like, flaky. These signs may not be there. The disease is caused by fungi of the genus Candida.

Candidiasis is diagnosed by smear microscopy.

Pregnancy, hormonal contraception (estrogens), diabetes mellitus, and recent antibiotic treatment predispose to vaginal candidiasis. Spousal candidiasis (as a result of passing Candida to the partner during sexual intercourse) is less common.

Transmission of Candida from mother to newborn occurs 70 percent of the time.

Candidiasis should be treated first and foremost as an infectious disease - destroy the pathogen, make sure it is destroyed, and prevent it from returning.

Why antifungal drugs in the treatment of candidiasis do not always help? It is not because they are ineffective. There are several reasons for this: the dose prescribed is too low or the course of treatment is unreasonably short; treatment is haphazard (e.g., self-treatment from case to case), and over time Candida fungi develop resistance to the drugs. Sometimes there is a mixed (caused by different germs) infection and some pathogens remain.

In addition, candidiasis often recurs after treatment. Studies have shown that they are still caused by the same strain of Candida fungus that caused them at the beginning of the infection. What does that mean? Under-treated? Is it hiding where it can't be reached? Or is it coming from somewhere else? There is no definite answer to these questions yet.

One thing is clear - antifungal remedies alone do not solve the problems today. More precisely, this decision cannot be recognized as final.

To rectify the situation, many doctors prescribe different drugs and supplements. However, the effects of most of these methods have not been proven. For example, the use of medications with bacteria (orally or on tampons) has no scientific basis.

To treat candidiasis, antifungal agents are used for both external and internal use, as well as antimicrobials of local action.

Oral antifungals used to be prescribed only by a doctor. This was due to the difficulty of prescribing them and fear of side effects. They were used when topical treatments did not help for a long time or caused allergies.

With the advent of new safe antifungal drugs, the situation has changed. The dosage of some remedies allows you to cure fresh candidiasis with just one capsule of the drug. This is very convenient - however, even these drugs do not save from the possibility of relapse, nor from the development of resistance to them and in general to any antifungal drug subsequently (cross-resistance of Candida).

I accidentally caught my finger on an iron door at work. It started to fester under my fingernail and I had to go to the surgeon to open the abscess. I went for dressings regularly and took lots of antibiotics as prescribed by the doctor. Apparently I overdid it, plus I forgot that you should take Nystatin along with them to avoid fungal diseases. As a result, candidiasis developed.

I heard from a friend that thrush can be cured with tampons soaked in tea mushroom infusion. Whether this is true, I don't know, but I really tried this method. I haven't noticed any improvement.

In some methods of getting rid of thrush with the help of tea mushroom, tampons soaked in tea mushroom infusion are actually recommended, as well as spritzing with the infusion. You don't want to do that. Mushroom tea is taken internally against the background of local treatment with other remedies - and it is better if these local remedies are prescribed by a doctor. If traditional treatment does not help - the disease persistently returns or does not want to disappear at all, you can apply this method of treatment.

For a month, take at least 800 ml of mushroom tea per day, divided into 4 servings. Drink half an hour before meals. From the diet exclude spicy, salty, sweet and smoked. Combine the reception of the infusion with hot baths of pine buds: pour 100 g of pine buds 10 liters of boiling water, hold over low heat for 30 minutes and insist 1 hour. Take hot baths. After the baths to carry out spritzing: pour 2-4 tbsp. spoonfuls of St. John's wort herb with two liters of water, boil for 20 minutes, strain.

Both treatments are best done before bedtime. At night, an hour before bedtime, take the last portion of mushroom tea..
