Seborrhea

Seborrhea is a pathologic skin condition caused by increased sebum secretion by sebaceous glands of altered chemical composition.

Seborrhea has the first sign - it is a sharp increase in fat secretion on the skin of the face, especially in the nasocutaneous (nasolabial) folds, on the skin of the scalp, back, chest. The skin of these areas is shiny from large amounts of sebum. Hair is greasy, sticking together in strands.

In cases where seborrhea has been completely untreated, complications such as atheroma (a benign tumor), acne vulgaris, dandruff and seborrheic eczema on the scalp, and baldness may occur.

Seborrhea is treated with medicinal prescriptions.



Quince. Warm mucilage decoction from seborrhea quince (soak in 1 cup of water 30 g of seeds for 1 hour, then on low heat bring to a boil and immediately strain) use the decoction from seborrhea to rub into the scalp with oily hair. The treatment should be carried out daily in the evening for 12-15 days.

Birch. Prepare tincture: 50 g of buds on 0.5. liters of 70% alcohol, insist 2 weeks. Rub into the scalp every other day. To avoid drying out the hair, in the tincture add castor oil (1 teaspoon per 1/2 cup of tincture), the course of treatment - 15-20 procedures. Or prepare an infusion: 50 g of leaves to 500 ml of boiling water, insist 6 hours in a warm place, strain. Wash your head 2-3 times a week with this infusion (for oily seborrhea).

Walnut. Prepare a decoction from seborrhea: 250 g of peels of green fresh nuts to 1 liter of water, boil for 10 minutes. Rinse dark, oily hair. A decoction for seborrhea will help reduce oily shine and restore normal sebaceous gland function.

Psoriasis

Psoriasis, or psoriasis, is a common chronic skin condition characterized by flaky rashes.

Psoriasis has 3 stages of rash development: progressive, stationary, and regressive. For the progressive stage is characterized by the appearance of new rashes of brightly colored papules (dense nodules of varying size), which can merge. In the stationary stage, psoriasis sort of subsides. In the regressive stage, the color of rashes pales, the number of plaques decreases, rashes dissolve, but complete cure does not occur.

Psoriasis is characterized by the following signs: the phenomenon of stearin spot - when scraping rashes their surface resembles a stearin spot, the phenomenon of terminal film - after the surface of the rashes scraped off all the scales, opens the thinnest delicate film, when breaking the integrity of which (by sharp scraping it) occur spot bleeding.

Psoriasis is treated with the following folk medicine remedies.



Laurel noble. 20 g of dry leaves pour 2 cups of boiling water, boil for 10 minutes, strain. Drink this remedy for psoriasis during the day in 3 meals. The course of treatment is 5-7 days.

Prepare the collection:


white willow (bark) - 40 g;


fucus bubbly (algae layer) - 20 g.



Crush the dry mixture and boil in 1 liter of water for 20 minutes, insist 5 minutes, filter. Take 3-4 cups per day in continuous courses - minimum of 15 days each.
Prepare ointment: take fresh egg white - 50-60 g, bee honey - 75-100 g, propolis (powder) - 250-300 g, pure birch tar (pharmacy) - 500 -600 ml, vegetable oil - 100 - 150 ml. Pour propolis (in powder), while gradually and continuously stirring, into the mixture of all the ingredients, which is kept in a water bath. When obtaining a homogeneous mass of thick consistency, add birch tar to it, so that the mixture is as thick as petroleum jelly or slightly thicker. Cool and apply this ointment to the rashes 2 times a day and rub it in thoroughly. This psoriasis remedy will help relieve unpleasant symptoms.

In this treatment it is recommended to drink this tea: take 1 part of the herb bitter wormwood, herb rosemary, herb sage, 2 parts of St. John's wort herb, herb goldenseal, nettle leaves, plantain leaves and juniper fruit, 3 parts of horsetail and herb violet tricolor. Mix it all up. 4 tablespoons of the mixture pour 1 liter of boiling water. Take the remedy for psoriasis 100-150 ml in warm (or hot) form 6-8 times a day for 15 minutes before meals.

In 10 days after the start of rubbing ointment 6-8 times a day and during the next month it is desirable to take tincture of Aralia Manchurian 25-30 drops 3 times a day for half an hour before meals.

After the plaques (scales) come off, pustular itchy pimples may appear on the cleaned and healthy surface. They are washed with warm boiled water and wiped dry 7-10 minutes before the next rubbing of the ointment. Wash with soap and water 2-3 times a week. Gradually the pustules disappear and the itching stops.

After this cleansing, the skin on the areas where the plaques were, turns dark blue and then takes on a healthy color. At this time, the ointment is replaced with another. For which take fresh egg white - 50 g, bee honey - 200 g, propolis (powder) - 200 g, celandine herb powder - 50 g, pharmacy tar - 750 g - 1 liter. Mix it all up. This remedy for psoriasis is rubbed in the same way as the previous one for 2 weeks. Then take 1 teaspoon tincture or extract of Eleutherococcus 2- 3 times a day for half an hour before meals for 1 month. Then take a break for 2 weeks, during which they drink the previously prepared tea.

In severe chronic forms of psoriasis, the course of treatment continues for 1 month - until complete, according to herbalists, cure.

When treating psoriasis, a diet and a certain regimen are followed. From food exclude eggs, fried and fatty meat, spicy dishes. Eat a plant-based diet rich in vitamins. Alcohol and smoking should also be eliminated.
