In folk medicine, meadow clover is used for colds, chronic bronchitis, whooping cough, cough, bronchial asthma, kidney and bladder diseases, liver, jaundice, etc. д. Е. А. Ladynina prescribes it for bronchitis, hypocidal gastritis, hepato-cholecystitis and pyelonephritis. Б. X. Akhmetova recommends hoofwort in CLL (chronic nonspecific pneumonia, pulmonary emphysema, bronchiectasis, bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis) complicated by pulmonary and pulmonary-cardiac insufficiency (cit. By W. И. Zavrazhnova). The author defended his doctoral dissertation on this topic in 1969 in Kazan.

According to the observations of S. А. Tomilin, the use of hoof hoof is most effective in peptic ulcer disease, liver and gallbladder diseases, as well as chronic skin diseases, especially eczema of neurogenic origin (in a mixture with hawthorn, echinacea, etc.).). М. Polakowska recommends hoofwort as an adjuvant for peptic ulcer disease.

Especially widely used hoofwort in folk medicine. It is used in colds, pulmonary tuberculosis, throat catarrh, heart disease, angina pectoris, jaundice, edema, dropsy, cirrhosis of the liver, etc. д.

М. А. Nosal for the treatment of alcoholism recommends 1 tbsp. A spoonful of decoction of 5 g of root to 200 ml of water discreetly pour into a glass of vodka and give to the patient. It causes vomiting and aversion to alcohol.

In Bulgaria for weaning from chronic alcoholism recommended as an effective remedy collection of 1 tsp. spoonfuls of hoof leaves and 2 tsp. spoonfuls of green peel of walnut fruit, 1 tsp. spoonful of the mixture is poured 1 cup of wine and taken; this recipe is for 4 liters of wine (V. Petkov). In Germany as a vomiting remedy recommended infusion of 5 g of raw rhizome of hoof in 250 ml of boiling water, take tablespoons until the effect.

Unfortunately, chronic alcoholics are also difficult to treat with conventional medical means, as they do not consider themselves sick and do not follow the regimen during and after treatment. There are several disciplined patients who have been cured by the infusion of barantz herb and other means and no longer use alcohol. But these people have great willpower and wanted treatment themselves.

М. А. Nosal recommends hoof in the form of infusion of 3-5 g of dry plant in 1 cup of liquid, it is better to take it with milk - in gastritis, liver disease and as a diuretic.

5. Infusion of 1 g of hoof leaves in 250 ml of boiling water - 15 ml 3-4 times a day for hypotension and as a cardiovascular remedy.

6. Grass hoofwort and cumin flowers equal parts of each; mix, 1 tbsp. spoon insist in 250 ml of boiling water - daily dose (choleretic).
