The thyroid gland is the conductor of the entire endocrine system. Like the other endocrine glands (epiphysis, hypothalamus, pituitary, pancreas, paired adrenal and sex glands), the thyroid gland secretes the products of its activity directly into the bloodstream.
It is called a gland of internal secretion, or endocrine, in contrast to the others, called glands of external secretion, because they secrete biologically active products of vital activity (enzymes) to the external environment through the ducts. The glands of external secretion include all digestive glands (liver, pancreas, etc.).
Glands of internal secretion play a huge role in metabolism, that is, in ensuring the life and health of the body. It is thanks to the products they secrete into the blood, that is, hormones, are provided in the body processes of digestion of food, its energy transformation, growth and development of the body, the accumulation of muscle mass, hematopoiesis, nervous, mental and immune activity.
All endocrine glands of the body are closely related to each other and when the failure of one of them - an increase or decrease in the amount of hormone secreted - disrupts the work of all other glands, because each of them immediately receives information about the work of their "colleagues" through the blood washing it. In addition, the quality and quantity of blood hormones is immediately reflected in the neuropsychiatric and physical status of a person.
It is known that with insufficient work of one or more glands of internal secretion come severe physical and mental defects leading to disability (pituitary dwarfism - dwarfism, cretinism, infertility, Addison's disease).
Thyroid gland in this ensemble of endocrine glands plays the role of conductor. It regulates the basic metabolism - oxidation of food, heat formation, that is, the transformation of food taken by us into energy or accumulation of this energy in the form of fat deposits.
Its insufficient work in childhood is an inferior growth and mental development. In an adult it is manifested by lethargy, drowsiness, excessive accumulation of fat and fluid in the body, low body temperature, swelling of mucous membranes.
Its increased work is an excessive release of the hormone thyroxine, as a result of which the patient is excited, heartbeat is rapid, increased appetite and body temperature (up to 37.2-37.4 °), but as a result of increased and useless energy expenditure reduced body weight. The external expression of the disease in the neglected stage is bazedovism (exophthalmos).
Why do these painful conditions arise, why more often than others (except for diabetes), this leading endocrine thyroid gland, truly - the shield of our body?
It is the inflammatory process in the tissue of the gland - a very delicate cellular structure with an active metabolism, becomes the cause of numerous nodules and cysts that form in it and cause an increase in its size and impaired function. The lack of iodine, essential for the synthesis of the thyroxine hormone, in food and drinking water certainly contributes to these disorders.
The reverse process - hyperfunction of the gland - diffuse toxic goiter - is its direct response to the inflammatory process of the periglandular tissues.
The thyroid gland is located in close proximity to the pharyngeal tonsils - clusters of lymphoid tissue, which are the filter of the internal environment and are often inflamed from the introduction of all kinds of pathogenic flora (strepto- or staphylococcal infection). This is the well-known sore throat, which catches up with us at any age.
But with the current widespread weakening of tissue immunity defective also becomes and the local immune barrier of the thyroid gland, as well as pharyngeal tonsils, which instead of protecting the body from infection themselves become a breeding ground for purulent process, because their lymphatic tissue as a result of frequent sore throats "melts" into purulent. Treatment with antibiotics makes resistant bacterial flora and promotes the spread of the inflammatory process on the thyroid gland through blood vessels, which it is very abundantly supplied.
The thyroid gland becomes inflamed - thyroiditis with the subsequent formation of cysts, follicles, fibrous nodules or, much worse, malignant neoplasm.
There are almost no people who have not once fallen ill with sore throat or do not suffer from chronic tonsillitis, which means the degeneration of lymphoid tissue tonsils in purulent. It is commonly believed that sore throat is caused by a cold. But pus is dead tissue, accumulates in the body not from a cold, not from microbes, but from the food we eat, and only then it becomes a breeding ground for these very microbes, contributing to their multiplication and release of microbial toxins - streptokinase and others.
Multiplying and activating, they penetrate into the thyroid tissue, which is also not quite clean and free of decaying metabolic products. Here develops thyroiditis - inflammation of the gland tissue, followed by the rest of the pathology, which is carefully diagnosed and treated mainly by removing part of the gland (subtotal resection) or individual nodes.
To what extent such treatment corresponds to the nature of the disease, judge for yourself. The cause of the disease is not eliminated: the accumulation of pus in the pharyngeal tonsils and the thyroid gland itself, but the consequences are removed. The operation often becomes crippling, and after it requires constant intake of the hormone of the gland, which leads to a violation of the work of other glands of internal secretion and metabolism in the body.
Less frequently, acute thyroiditis occurs with swelling of the gland, neck pain and fever. Such a condition can develop after the removal of a suppurative tooth, for example. It is treated by prescribing large doses of antibiotics and hormones (prednisolone) that suppress inflammation.
Without removing the source of contamination and intoxication, the inflammatory process is suppressed. The results are not difficult to guess - it is chronic inflammatory processes of organs neighboring the gland: bronchi, lungs, mammary glands, cervical intervertebral cartilage (osteochondrosis).
Often in chronic thyroiditis prescribed intravenous administration of the hormone of the gland - thyroxine, assuming a decrease in its function. As a rule, this leads to increased irritability. Then the neurologist prescribes drugs that calm the nervous system.
A person becomes a receptacle of drugs and his own waste, although the only thing he needs in this case is a full course of purification with subsequent restoration of cells and tissues.
We cured acute thyroiditis in a 46-year-old woman within four months without a single pill or injection, that is, without drugs, only by correcting the disturbed metabolism.
The disease began after the extraction of a mandibular tooth. An endocrinologist prescribed shock doses of antibiotics and corticosteroids (adrenal cortex hormones). The patient refused to take the medication and turned to a naturopathic doctor.
On the first day she was prescribed bowel lavage, drinking decoctions of medicinal herbs (peppermint, melissa, plantain, yarrow, chamomile, ergot, bearberry, sage) with honey and lemon juice. The patient spent seven days on such "subthreshold diet", excluding any other food (with daily double washing of the large intestine). The next twenty days she took the same decoction and fresh fruit and vegetable juices.
The juices of citrus fruits, watermelon and tomatoes, as well as apple, carrot and beet with the addition of cabbage, pumpkin and apple juices and juices of leafy vegetables: spinach, sorrel, beet haulm, celery, parsnip, coriander, parsley have an excellent therapeutic effect.
Solid food was excluded, i.e. the universal principle of treatment of all diseases was realized. After all, it is known that in the absence of digestion and excretion of digestive enzymes in the body are activated tissue proteolytic enzymes, destroying with jewelry precision sick, defective cells and tissues. The products of their decay are removed from the body by drinking heavily through the kidneys and washing the intestine through the lymphatic vessels, the final capillaries of which carry the products of tissue metabolism in the large intestine.
After 30-40 days (depending on the patient's condition and stage of recovery) in the diet are introduced juicy fruits, dried fruits, pureed vegetable salads, leafy vegetables, nuts, vegetable and butter, bran, raw egg yolks. This diet is maintained for four to six weeks.
After a repeated seven-day juice diet, the diet is expanded with vegetarian soups, vegetable stews and porridge cooked on water with added oil and vegetables.
After four months, the woman was perfectly healthy. After another three months, she underwent an iridodiagnosis, which showed no trace of disease and her thyroid gland was completely healthy. This was only possible because natural therapy cleanses the tissues and cells of the body of pathological structural information accumulated during life.
Diffuse toxic goiter, nodular goiter and other thyroid pathologies are also cured in the same way.
Fibrous nodules or cysts of the thyroid gland resorb in 6-10 months from the beginning of treatment without surgical intervention. At the same time, all other organs are cleared and restored, pass concomitant diseases: tonsillitis, bronchitis, as well as pyelonephritis, hypertension, heart ailments, inflammatory diseases of the liver, gallbladder and intestines.
With a marked decrease in the function of the gland, the patient's condition improves significantly. As a result, he needs an additional intake of a very small amount of thyroxine.
This is how, in a natural way, indicated by nature, the body heals itself, realizing its capabilities of self-regulation, self-recovery. Only by studying and comprehending the laws of nature, we can put a barrier to the catastrophic growth of morbidity. And this is done by means of deep medical education of people, and not at all treatment in hospitals.
