Detoxification as a method of treatment

When we children eat cooked food for the first time, the first mucus is formed in our body. Some of this mucus is deposited on the walls of the digestive tract, while the rest of it collects in a very convenient place - the lungs. Mucus cannot stay in the lungs for long, t.к. the lungs have a mechanism similar to intestinal peristalsis to rid them of mucus. This mechanism is like a million little fingers on the surface of the lungs that move like a conveyor belt, moving mucus out of the lungs. Mucus comes out of the lungs and into the nose - and you see your child's nose leaking. When we feed the baby mucus-forming foods, then the baby will have a leaky nose all the time, t.к. the body is trying to get rid of the mucus. From the point of view of nature, this process is quite normal: all excess mucus is expelled from the baby's body through the nose, and the lungs remain clean. But what do we do when we see our child's nose running? A typical reaction is, "Oh! My child's nose is running. The skin around his poor nose is already irritated and covered in a rash. I have to help my child and take him to the doctor." The doctor prescribes nasal drops. We feel better, t.к. did everything they could for the baby.
I just want to say that nose drops are not necessary. The baby has no need for these drops. Drops are toxic. They are so toxic that the body stops expelling mucus from the lungs and concentrates on how to get rid of the toxins brought in by the droplets. The body stops the cleansing process, the nose stops flowing and the mucus goes back into the lungs. We look at the child and say, "Yes, these drops helped. My child has recovered." We don't realize that our nose has stopped flowing because the body has focused all of its energy on clearing out the toxic drips. And that a red running nose is not as scary as lungs filled with mucus and a body weakened by toxic nasal drops. Meanwhile, the mucous layer is getting thicker and thicker. It takes a lot of energy for the body to clear mucus from the lungs. When the body has accumulated enough energy, it will begin to excrete mucus again. Three months go by and the baby's nose leaks again. What do we do? We say to ourselves, "My nose is running again, we need to call the doctor." We carry the baby to the doctor who says stronger nasal drops are needed, t.к. there's more mucus, it's more concentrated, and it's making his tonsils swell. The mucus, as it ascends the trachea and is deposited on the vocal cords, also caused hoarseness of voice.
The new, stronger drops are so toxic that the body again stops the process to expel mucus and focuses on clearing those drops. This process will take a few more months for the baby's body to build up enough energy and start clearing mucus again.

Think about it for a moment, when in your life do your energy levels usually rise above average? You tend to have more energy when you're on vacation, or when you're just relaxing on Saturday or Sunday. When do you usually get sick? Haven't you ever said to yourself, "What the hell is this! As soon as you have free time, you get sick. When your body gets extra energy, it rushes to use it before you use it up on something else. Your body uses this energy to detoxify. That's why we get sick when we have time to rest.
To speed up the elimination of toxins and increase enzyme activity, the body raises its temperature, which is a complex process that requires a lot of time and energy. To create temperature, the body has to work hard. The heart is beating 20-30 beats per minute more than normal. All the hormone glands are working doubly hard. That's why we feel tired. To conserve the energy that normally goes into digesting food, the body creates a situation where it doesn't want to eat. The tongue is covered with a thick layer of mucus and we can't taste it. Our noses are stuffy and the smell of food can't tempt us. My tonsils are swollen and it's hard to swallow. So what happens when we have a fever? The body begins to sweat so that toxins can escape with sweat through the pores of the skin. Do you remember that sticky and particularly odorous sweat that comes out of you during a fever? The mucus becomes more liquid and your nose starts to run profusely. What do we usually do when we have a fever? We take aspirin. Why are we doing this? Could it be that we have developed aspirin deficiency syndrome? Aspirin is mostly made of sulfur, and sulfur is bad for us. Our bodies don't expect us to be so crafty. Sulfur is so toxic that the body simply doesn't have the energy to continue evacuating the mucus. The important process of healing stops. All the body is interested in at this point is toxic aspirin in the bloodstream. The first priority is to get rid of it as soon as possible. To accomplish this, the body works so hard and becomes so weakened that it can't even maintain a normal temperature. Then our temperature drops below normal. We are forced to lie in bed, t.к. we feel very weak. It's not the temperature that makes us weak, it's the body's reaction to the aspirin.
In addition, when we feel weak, for some reason we tend to eat particularly heavy foods like chicken soup. We have no appetite. Our body says, "Don't eat it!" But we think we should eat chicken soup, t.к. he'll give us "energy." I used to feed it to my kids too. I used to say: "Have some chicken soup, you need the energy." Or I gave them some other high calorie food. Since the body is in the "don't eat anything" stage, at best, if there is any energy left, you will vomit. The body is crying out to you, "No, no, not again, I need all my energy for recovery." If we eat when the body is in the "nothing introduction" stage, blood has to be pumped to the stomach to help digest that chicken soup, thus taking energy away from the detoxification process. Digestion requires a huge amount of energy and we feel even weaker. Trying to eat through force during an ailment is also a cause of complications after illness. This is what happens when we don't listen to our bodies.
It takes a lot of energy for the body to cleanse the body of medications. After one illness, we may not get sick for quite some time. This happens because there is no energy left in the body to detoxify. The body needs to build up energy before it can start cleaning your system again.
This is why most adults never get a fever as high as children do.
Meanwhile, the amount of mucus in the lungs increases. A fresh layer of mucus is clear. And old mucus can be green or dark orange, brown or yellow. To get rid of this huge amount of mucus our body calls on pneumonia for help. The body makes heroic efforts to get rid of the mucus. It takes even more energy than even the temperature and we feel very tired. We're breathing hard and snoring. When we have pneumonia, we take penicillin. This stops the mucus output and weakens the body further.
After that, for years, the body will make no attempt to cleanse itself, except for a little "cold" here and there, which cannot be considered a serious detoxification. The body continues to accumulate excess mucus in the lungs until only one-third of the lungs are free; then the lungs say, "I can't take any more. I need that one third to keep breathing, to keep living. I can't survive on less oxygen." There is still a small amount of free space in the body - these are the nasal and frontal sinuses. The mucus is starting to move in there. Then the body begins to utilize the space under the skin. When mucus and toxins are deposited in the subcutaneous layer, the skin becomes puffy and rough. Then, when we walk even a little bit, we start to sweat and mucus starts to be secreted through the pores of the skin. This mucus is acidic; it irritates the skin. (Imagine how your skin would start to itch if you put something acidic, like lemon juice, on it.) We call it allergies.
How do allergies form? Why does it exist? We have a lot of toxins in our bodies. Many people say, "When I eat citrus fruits, I get a rash on my skin." Citrus fruits only dissolve toxins and help flush them out through the skin faster. It's actually very good for her. It also means that a huge amount of toxins have accumulated in the body.

Sometimes we accumulate so much mucus in our bodies that we begin to have great difficulty breathing - we develop asthma. We can't breathe. We're not getting enough oxygen. We are so full of mucus that we can't take a full breath. The mucus that fills the frontal sinus is too close to the brain, causes headaches, and can potentially lead to brain tumors. This space is not designed to hold mucus.
The easiest way to check if you have mucus in your lungs is to jog around the house. If your nose is running, it means you have mucus. If you run around the house twice and your nose doesn't leak, then your lungs are clear. If, when you run, you can breathe through your nose, you don't have mucus in you.

Have you ever watched professional runners compete? Are they constantly expectorating? Even if they are on a vegetarian diet, they still eat high-calorie cooked foods like rice and potatoes, which leads to mucus production. When raw foodists run, they don't produce mucus. I know many raw food runners and they don't have any mucus problems, they have nothing to expectorate and breathe through their nose. They have enough oxygen to talk while running. Their lungs are clear.
Our bodies are designed in such a way that running cleanses them. Human beings should at least be able to walk. We don't have a lot of space in our bodies for mucus to accumulate. Our bodies are designed to move. We are so designed that when we move, our lungs start to work harder and push mucus outward. But if we don't run and rarely walk, how will our body get rid of mucus? Instead of helping our body to clear mucus, we interrupt its work and take aspirin.
The body has to be very strong to raise the temperature. We should be happy when we have a really high fever! Be happy. Your body works hard to keep you healthy. When you have a fever, help your body and don't eat anything. Chances are, when you have a high fever, you won't want to eat anything anyway. When I was little and had a fever, I never wanted to eat and my mom always tried to feed me. She used to let me drink hot milk. Milk mixed with butter. Or something else along the same lines. If you want to help your body, do a cold wrap, or take a shower alternating hot and cold water, or lie in a bathtub. Your body knows what it needs. It knows if it wants to be covered. But usually when I threw back the blanket, my mom would say: "No, no, cover up or you'll freeze." My mom did it all in my best interest. We now know that the best thing we can do is to listen to our bodies. We're all toxic.

Detoxification is an effort by our body to cleanse itself. Detoxification is essential if you want to get healthy. What are the main symptoms of detoxification? Before I begin to describe them, I want to share a story with you.
At one time I worked at the Health Institute in Michigan, where those who would like to become raw foodists come for two or more weeks. They are first put on a two-day juice cleanse and then given wheatgrass juice, various sprouted seeds and raw food. Each day they meet with staff to discuss detoxification symptoms. They tell of rashes, headaches, diarrhea, cold sores and weakness. And every time, there is at least one person in the group who shows no signs of detoxification at all. The staff knows this is a very bad sign. This means that there is no energy left in that person's body to cleanse. So I want you to rejoice in the symptoms of detoxification. When you switch to raw food, you immediately give your body back a massive amount of energy and you should begin to detoxify. If it doesn't, it could mean that you have a health problem. So if you decide to go raw, expect detoxification. Even if your detoxification symptoms hit you at an inconvenient time when you have to give a presentation or be in a meeting, it doesn't matter, be grateful. If you're showing signs of detoxification, celebrate! Be happy! Be happy! Rejoice!
So what are the most common symptoms of detoxification? Approximately 75% of raw food transitioners develop mouth sores. They form because saliva becomes acidic and irritates the gums, leading to ulcers. These sores cause irritation, pain and discomfort. There's nothing you can do to them. There are no gargles or ointments that can help. You will have to wait until your saliva changes, usually no more than 2-3 days. When you go raw, your body starts to cleanse itself and all the dirt from your body is released into your bloodstream. This creates a temporary increase in acidity. That's why when we're hungry, we smell bad. When we starve ourselves or completely change our diet, we smell like ammonia.

Another symptom of detoxification is weakness. Most people only experience weakness for a short time during the first week. Sometimes we suddenly become so weak that we can't move a finger. Then, also suddenly, it goes away and there is a great burst of energy. We feel weak when the body concentrates all the energy to cleanse a particular organ. Imagine a device that scans your entire body and suddenly finds an organ that needs cleaning. The device sends an indication to the energy center in your body: "Ai, ai, ai! There is something here! I need to work here, and I need additional energy". That's also how your body works.

The third symptom is headaches. If you've eaten a lot of white sugar in your lifetime or drank a lot of coffee or taken pain pills, you're likely to experience headaches. They usually don't last more than two or three days, but they can be quite severe. For headache relief, lie down to rest, take a hot bath, sleep, or give yourself an enema. Ask your body, "What do you need?" and listen.
Another common symptom is rashes. Our body categorizes all toxins into specific groups. One group is brought out through the ears. The other is easier to get out through the nose. And the third needs to be excreted through the skin with sweat. When toxins are eliminated through the skin, you develop a rash. The more acidic your sweat is, the worse the rash will be. What can you do to help? Take a very hot bath and have a good sweat. Or sit in the sauna. If you go to the sauna, remember that toxic sweat needs to be washed away. I go to the sauna a lot. I watch people who go there and just sit and dry off in the cold air. And the body absorbs all those toxins back! When our pores are open, our body absorbs everything back into itself like a sponge. Sweat and toxins need to be flushed out. It's best with cold water, t.к. the pores closing up will squeeze out some more toxins.

The next symptom is diarrhea. Some people get diarrhea, which is just fine. One day I just prayed that I would be sent diarrhea and I didn't get it. And a friend of mine didn't ask for it, and got it for six months. He couldn't go to the movies, t.к. afraid to go more than 100 feet from the house. I wanted to get diarrhea because I had symptoms of gut twisting and was told that diarrhea would straighten that out. Diarrhea is not harmful or caused by bacteria. Diarrhea is the result of our body trying to cleanse itself.
When you are experiencing detoxification symptoms, the first thing you should do is call someone in the raw food community who understands it all and can talk to you. You can call a raw foodist friend and say, "I'm calling you because I'm just dying of a terrible headache! I'm shaking all over and I'm terribly weak." And your friend will reply, " Congratulations, your body is strong enough!" Why do you need to reach out to someone who is a raw foodist at this point? It's important because, despite my explanation, when you have detoxification symptoms, you will panic. It happens to everyone. That's why it's important to call someone who can support you in your quest for health and reassure you that you're okay. Someone who will confirm that everything is o"k and what you are feeling is normal.
If you are experiencing a strong detoxification reaction, you can fast on water or juice for 24-36 hours. A hunger strike will speed up the cleansing process. Before starving yourself, read books on the subject. If you want to starve yourself for a longer period of time, I suggest you go to a starvation treatment clinic..
