What role do kidneys play in the body, how vital are they for us, and what should we do if they suddenly fall ill? These questions should be asked by every person and, above all, every parent with a small child, and the answers to them should also be known to everyone.
Let's try to understand all this to avoid tragedies in childhood, youth, and at any age when kidneys fail.
The whole point of these questions is that kidneys never fail suddenly.
The process that led to such an unpleasant finale, lasts for many years, but proceeds stealthily, hidden.
Kidneys are a "tricky" organ, you have to be very careful with them.
The kidneys are the paired organ of excretion of the end products of tissue metabolism: water, nitrogenous compounds and some salts.
These are waste products of a global chemical process in our tissues called metabolism.
In the kidneys there is an abundant network of arterial vessels, twisted in the form of tubules - glomeruli, filtering the blood serum, excreting from it all unnecessary with the formation of the so-called primary urine.
But this primary urine is dilute, about 120-150 liters of it is excreted per day.
And so in the kidneys there is also the tubule apparatus, a huge labyrinth of tubules where primary urine is filtered.
The tubule walls are lined with epithelium capable of concentrating primary urine to its normal specific gravity (1.012-1.018) and quantity (1.5-2 liters per day).
In order for this to occur, reabsorption of fluid against a density gradient takes place in the tubules, which is due to a great deal of enzymatic work occurring in the epithelium of the tubule walls.
And all enzymatic work is synthetic processes involving the absorption of energy.
When does this complex system begin to malfunction? Numerous case histories and anatomical autopsy reports suggest the following.
Already the first sore throat in the life of a child or the first inflammatory process in the respiratory tract (acute respiratory infections, influenza, etc.) bring some microbes into the renal tubular apparatus, that is, into the arterial vasculature.
Together with microbes, dead epithelial cells of the mucosa of the respiratory organs, formed in the process of inflammation, get there.
It is enough several such sessions of contamination of kidney vessels (repeated sore throats, influenza, acute respiratory infections, scarlatina), and the tubules become inflamed.
Inflammation is often acute: the wall of blood capillaries is damaged, blood enters the urine, and it becomes red in color.
At the same time, the child's temperature rises, there is pain in the lower back.
It's acute glomerulonephritis.
Currently accepted in medicine treatment of acute glomerulonephritis - antibiotics, sulfonamides, corticosteroids used to stop, suppress the process of inflammation of the tissues of the tubules.
This goal is achieved: the inflammatory process in the kidneys is suppressed but not eliminated.
Dead bodies of kidney cells and microbes formed during inflammation are not completely eliminated from the kidneys.
Lingering in the walls of the renal vessels or getting with the flow of urine into the tubules or renal pelvis, where the tubules open, they cause a new inflammatory process.
Now (immediately or after some time: a few months, a few years), the tubules are diseased, and nephrosonephritis or pyelonephritis occurs.
Very often glomerulonephritis (inflammation of the kidney tubules) turns into a chronic process.
The permeability of arterial capillary walls is disturbed, and they begin to pass from the blood serum dissolved in it large molecules of serum proteins - albumin.
The patient loses protein - the building material of body tissues, and this is a dangerous symptom that threatens a serious immune disorder and requires treatment.
Modern medicine offers antibiotics, chemopreparations and hormones, that is, the treatment tactics remain the same as in the acute inflammatory process.
The result is an overgrowth of connective tissue in the foci of inflammation, the formation of the so-called secondary-wrinkled, that is, sclerosed kidney.
It is necessary to know that connective tissue overgrowth occurs with chronic inflammatory process in any organ: in the liver - cirrhosis, in the lungs - sclerosis and emphysema, in the myocardium - cardiosclerosis, in the brain vessels - sclerosis, cerebral stroke, in the brain tissue itself - epilepsy.
So, sclerosis of kidney vessels as a result of their inflammation in the initial stage causes arterial hypertension.
Hence "juvenile", malignant, untreatable hypertension.
In fact, hypertension at any age, whether symptomatic or essential hypertension (that is, occurring for unknown reasons), has a single cause - inflammation of the vascular apparatus of the kidneys, anemia of renal tissue, the release of such damaged kidneys in the bloodstream hormone renin, causing spasm of capillaries throughout the body, including the vessels of the brain, heart and kidneys themselves.
Vascular spasm leads to increased blood pressure, and when vascular walls are damaged (inflammation - defects in the inner lining of blood vessels) in various organs (heart, brain, lungs, liver), cholesterol, calcium salts, products of nitrogen (i.e. protein) metabolism - uric acid crystals - fall from the blood serum into the damaged areas and are deposited there.
All this "stuff", deposited on the walls of large and small arteries, causes sclerosis and ulceration of these walls, and then thrombosis (blockage) of the vessel lumen.
As a consequence, myocardial infarction, brain stroke, etc. occur.
Such processes can occur in any organ (including the kidneys) due to exsanguination of the area of tissue in which the thrombosed vessel is located.
The truth becomes clear: when one organ in the body (i.e., organ system) becomes diseased, others become diseased as well.
And it doesn't matter how close together these organs are, as they are all bathed by the same blood, lymph and tissue fluids.
However, "soon the tale is told, but not soon the deed is done", especially in the human body, equipped with a huge number of defense mechanisms at every level of its existence - biochemical, physiological, physical, nervous, hormonal, psychological.
But "water sharpens stone", and from the first angina or bronchitis in 1-1.5 years to hypertension, heart attack, stroke passes 20, 40, 60 years, so as if lost and forgotten the cause of these diseases, which begin to treat vasodilating and anti-clotting drugs.
Thus, people for decades continue to disregard the laws of nature, raping their bodies with drugs, destroying the internal organs created by divine wisdom.
And what happens to the kidneys themselves, if the pathological process occurs in them more intensely? Inflamed tubules fail, and the same happens to inflamed tubules.
They stop functioning, and so-called kidney failure sets in.
The tubules are unable to filter out of blood serum extremely poisonous low-molecular nitrogenous compounds (urea, uric acid, creatine, creatinine and others), their concentration in the blood serum (so-called residual nitrogen) increases, there comes nitrogenemia or uremia - poisoning of the whole body by its own wastes of protein metabolism.
Now, to save the patient's life, medicine resorts to filtration of blood through a mono-exchange system ("artificial kidney") or to kidney transplantation.
The success of these methods will be discussed later.
The conclusion is that it is better to prevent kidney disease than to treat it, and if it does occur, to treat it at the beginning and, if possible, at an earlier age.
How do you know that the kidneys are sick if there are no obvious, catastrophic symptoms - red urine, fever, lower back pain, even protein in the urine?
You need to know that with any sore throat, bronchitis, pneumonia, flu, acute respiratory infection, maxillary sinusitis, and even more so bronchial asthma, the kidneys get sick.
But, being a very patient and "silent" organ, the kidneys do not let us know of their distress, but continue to do their job of purifying blood serum to keep us from poisoning ourselves with our own nitrogen.
They refuse immediately and just as silently.
It can occur at 15, and at 45, and at 60, but to save the kidneys and cure them completely most likely in childhood and adolescence, when the growth of the body is not yet complete and there is an opportunity to create full new tissues - tubules and tubules - to replace the damaged.
But in order for this to happen, drug therapy is not suitable, as it suppresses the immune system, regenerative abilities of the tissues of the body and leads to the already described processes.
Now official medicine has created such a version: let children with diseased kidneys be treated with drugs and hormones (because without hormones it is impossible to stop the pathological process), and with age "it will all pass" and the child will "outgrow" the disease.
But, unfortunately, this does not happen, and the following happens: during puberty, new glands of internal secretion - ovaries and testes - begin to function fully.
They release large amounts of previously unavailable sex hormones into the bloodstream.
The metabolism of the body includes new, powerful components that improve tissue trophics and thus compensate for the disease, but not cure it, because the cause - the presence of purulent foci in the body - has not been removed.
These foci of dormant infection come to life after 25-30 years of age, and possibly earlier, when tissue growth ends and some "tissue depression" occurs as a result of accumulation of stresses of various origins: nutritional, environmental, psychological, etc.
Here comes the moment when the kidneys "suddenly failed", and then begins the work for surgeons, that is, the connection of an artificial kidney or kidney transplantation followed by the introduction of drugs that suppress immunity, so that the transplanted organ is not rejected.
Another option: a patient with chronic pyelonephritis is treated for sciatica by a neurologist.
This variant is even more common and lasts, at times, for years until the same finale - kidney failure.
Therefore, people, both sick and healthy, need to know that any pain along the spine, its deformities and neuralgia of intervertebral nerves are the result of chronic disease of internal organs: bronchi, lungs, stomach, pancreas, kidneys.
Cleanse these organs, renew their tissues by methods of natural therapy, and the spine will straighten itself, pain will pass, dislocated discs will fall into place.
By themselves? Yes, by themselves, because the long-term spasm of the intervertebral muscles that causes this pathology will stop.
The cause of spasm is pathologic nerve impulses from diseased organs to the corresponding segments of the spine.
How can we avoid this disappointing picture of one disease turning into another and endlessly treating it?
Every person, and even more so every parent, needs to be aware of the great vulnerability of kidney tissue and all the consequences that result from it.
Consequently, with any illness of a child or adult, it is necessary to immediately begin cleansing the tissues (blood, lymph, intercellular fluid, cells) of the entire body.
It is in this general cleansing that the kidneys are restored, very successfully and with quick results.
What is general cleansing and how is it done? It is, firstly, drinking plenty of fluids to increase lymphatic circulation and the removal of cellular slags by the lymph current into the papillae of the mucosa of the large intestine, from where they are ejected outside with the contents of the large intestine.
But this requires regular bowel lavage for 1-3 weeks daily physiological solution, herbal infusions, urine.
You should drink about three liters of fluid per day that cleanses and nourishes the cells of the body, not just water.
These are decoctions of herbs with the addition of honey and citrus juices.
Herbs are selected on the principle of cleansing all systems of the body: respiratory, digestive, excretory.
The condition of the musculoskeletal, nervous and circulatory systems directly depends on the condition of the first three.
This can be the following herbs taken in equal proportions: mint, oregano, melissa, yarrow, chamomile, plantain, mother and stepmother, tricolor violet, sporax, bearberry, sage, nettle, motherwort.
Eating solid food should be eliminated for this period to stop the process of digestion and the release of digestive enzymes.
This is necessary to activate the work of proteolytic tissue enzymes that break down and remove pathological inclusions and directly diseased, slagged cells from the cells.
With such global tissue cleansing, the therapeutic effect comes in 10-15 days, and the final recovery, depending on the age and duration of the disease - in 6-12 months.
During this time it is necessary to conduct a 10-15-day cleansing course of treatment (herbal decoctions, juices, bowel lavage) every 3 months.
In between, it is necessary to follow a regimen of a biologically complete, that is, raw vegetable diet with the inclusion of large quantities of raw fruits, vegetables, nuts, sprouted grains, vegetable and butter, cream, raw egg yolks and, of course, a variety of fresh fruit and vegetable juices.
Acceptable and very useful almost all juices: apples, carrots, beets, pumpkin, cabbage, celery, parsley, topinambur, melon, cherry, plum, grapes, but especially healing watermelon juice, and not only in the treatment of kidneys, but also in the treatment of bronchitis and bronchial asthma, which is carried out in exactly the same method.
It is necessary to say about one fatal mistake made in the treatment of acute and chronic glomerulonephritis, when the patient loses protein with urine (in the normal protein in the urine is not contained).
In order to make up for these protein losses, patients begin to feed heavily with animal protein - meat, cottage cheese.
This aggravates the disease, because foreign animal protein, being the strongest antigen, causes the formation of antibodies to food proteins (40% of these proteins are absorbed in the small intestine in the form of molecules that have retained their antigenic abilities).
The next stage of excessive immunogenesis is the formation of antibodies to the body's own tissue proteins.
Autoimmune processes arise and develop with a snowball effect, destroying the body and, first of all, the kidneys.
They are treated, i.e. suppressed, with hormones and non-hormonal immunosuppressants, but this process is doomed to complete failure.
The absence of protein diet in chronic and acute renal disease is the first condition for recovery, as in this case the walls of renal vessels and tubules are not destroyed by aggressive antibodies, ready to destroy everything in their path, including their own tissues of the body.
The natural carbohydrates of fruit and vegetable juices, on the other hand, provide building material to repair damaged kidney tissue.
The story of thirty-six-year-old Alexander V., an officer of the Armed Forces who was dismissed due to illness, is illustrative in this respect.
His kidneys were not performing their function of purifying blood and he was referred to an "artificial kidney" but refused dialysis.
After a week of taking the juices with bowel lavage, he no longer needed dialysis.
A year later he was virtually healthy and functional.
Twelve-year-old Nellie N.
diagnosed with glomerulonephritis (after a severe sore throat) was admitted to a hospital for kidney dialysis.
After taking two dialysis sessions, she switched to a course of natural therapies.
She didn't need any more dialysis.
She is now 26 years old, quite healthy, mother of two children, lives in the US....
