In No. 13 (1999) of "AiF Zdorovye" there was a large article about epilepsy. What have we learned from it about the current state of affairs in the treatment of this disease? Epilepsy was first described 400 years B.C. by Hippocrates. For 2400 years of development of medicine and medical research "no one still does not know exactly what epilepsy is and who can and who cannot be referred to epileptics". These are the words of a neurosurgeon.
However, Prof. P. A. Temin, a pediatric psychoneurologist and epileptologist, believes that today "epilepsy has become a curable disease. With the use of anticonvulsants in 70% of cases it is possible to eliminate seizures for a long period of time. In 30% of cases it is not possible to help patients with one drug and it is necessary to resort to the use of a second and third drug".
Neurosurgeon Prof. V. Lebedev notes that epilepsy is divided into symptomatic and so-called genuin epilepsy, i.e. in other words epilepsy that arose "from unknown causes". Behind the scientific medical term hides elementary ignorance of the causes of the disease. Is it possible to cure something whose causes are unknown? That is, to eliminate the disease without eliminating its causes? However, when diagnosed with "genuin epilepsy", according to Professor V. Lebedev (neurosurgeon), "the patient is given pills: tranquilizers, sleeping pills, combined, depressing CNS, all chemically very potent substances. Such treatment affects the patient's psyche, his intellect, leads to degradation of personality". What does the neurosurgeon suggest? Surgical treatment, i.e., removal of the brain tumor or arterial aneurysm that causes symptomatic epilepsy. Clearly, without removing the pathologic substrate, the disease cannot be cured. But the bulk of patients with epilepsy suffer genuinely from its form, i.e., without a clear cause. "At the same time, it is known (since 1926) that there is no genuin epilepsy in which no structural changes in the brain would not be found. The question is whether these changes lead to epilepsy or whether epilepsy produces these structural changes. And likely differently in different people," writes the neurosurgeon. And here again surgical treatment in the form of novocaine blockade of the epileptoid focus and the pathways of seizure impulse propagation is proposed. But immediately admits that, "according to the most optimistic calculations, surgically can be treated only a quarter of patients with epilepsy," and "after surgery, improvement or recovery occurs only in 70% of cases". So, the conclusion of modern physicians sounds like a verdict: epilepsy is actually not curable, its causes are unknown. (We are not talking about symptomatic epilepsy). Yes, but this "mysterious" disease, as it has been known for 2.5 thousand years, can be prevented. In 100% of cases, you can prevent childhood epilepsy, and an adult can prevent it, although the disease mainly occurs in childhood, in 5-10 years, and grows up with the patient. How to prevent epilepsy after all? That is, what is the prevention of epilepsy? (An expression not used in medicine, unlike "prevention of heart attack or tuberculosis").
Epilepsy prevention consists in preventing the formation of these very structural changes in the brain, which become epileptogenic foci from which the pathological chain described by Prof. V. Lebedev begins to form. The picture unfolds in this way: compression of vessels, impaired cerebral blood circulation, oxygen starvation, appearance and retention of toxic metabolic products in the brain, increased bioelectrical activity of brain areas with altered metabolism and, finally, bioelectrical discharge causing seizures. What are these structural changes? These are microcuts in the brain tissue, resulting from inflammatory processes in it, or rather, brain intoxication processes that caused microinflammation of a limited area of brain tissue with subsequent replacement by connective non-functional tissue. This microtubule becomes a foreign body in the brain. Like any foreign body in the body tissue, it causes the formation of autoantibodies, which in turn causes the formation of new epileptogenic foci. The epileptic process is closed! There comes a period of its progressive increase in an ascending spiral. It is clear that surgery is powerless here, drugs too, because the metabolism of brain tissue is broken. Removal of numerous foci is impossible and pointless, suppression of increased bioelectrical activity of some parts of the brain with anticonvulsants and sleeping pills does not cure the disease process, but only suppresses its symptoms, besides worsening the condition of other parts of the brain.
Why do microcuts appear in the brain tissue of a child or an adult? There must be a reason, right? Yes, and the reason is quite obvious. It is the notorious upper respiratory tract infection, countless acute respiratory diseases and acute respiratory viral infections, which are considered common and natural, and against which we use a lot of drugs: from aspirin and antibiotics to the advertised in the media and very toxic antipyretic agent "Panadol". Drugs suppress the symptoms of a cold, dead microbes and cells of the mucosa of the nose and sinuses (especially the frontal sinuses) begin to secrete cadaveric poisons (putrescine, cadaverine, ptomaines and other poisonous monoamines), which penetrate into the brain with the insufficiency of the blood-brain barrier and depending on where the weaker cellular, tissue protection (prostoglandins, etc.); there is a pathological focus: in the brain - epilepsy, in the brain membranes - arachnoiditis, with a deeper lesion of the brain membranes - meningitis. In localized lesions of the visual apparatus - myopia; otitis media of varying degrees of complexity when the auditory apparatus is affected; in total brain damage - meningoencephalitis.
With a full immune system, these complications bypass a person in childhood and young age. But acute respiratory infections, viral influenza and similar pathology is repeated throughout life. And the more years lived, the more toxins accumulate in the body (in case of failure to observe internal hygiene, i.e. purification of the internal environment of the body). Toxins from the upper respiratory tract, and especially from the sinuses of the nose, undermine the blood-brain barrier. This especially begins to be felt in adulthood, with strenuous intellectual work and high stress. The result is schizophrenia or multiple sclerosis. If this did not happen, it means that the immune barrier of the brain has withstood the test of strength. But years go by, the sinuses are not cleared of mucus and pus (it is known that in an adult in the four sinuses of the nose - hollow air-bearing bones - accumulates up to two cups of hardened pus), therefore, intoxication of the brain continues. The permeability of the blood-brain barrier has already been significantly affected. Penetration of pus toxins into the brain tissue causes Alzheimer's disease - the pathologic substrate is amyloid in the brain tissue, i.e., the degeneration of brain tissue into "unrelated large-molecular sugar-containing protein. These deposits are insoluble and poisonous, they destroy brain tissue and cells. In this case, there is increased oxidation of fat-containing layers of the cell membrane, violation of its integrity, glucose metabolism, excessive passage of ionized calcium into the cells. Ultimately, this leads to the death of neurons, as a result of which dementia occurs" (AiF-Zdorovye. № 14. 1999), i.e. Alzheimer's disease, which is proposed to be treated with unitiol, developed by Kharkiv scientists. The drug is considered to be "anti-amyloid". The advantages of the drug are considered to be "low severity of adverse reactions", "the possibility of long-term (for tens of years) courses of therapy". It is unlikely that the introduction of a foreign substance into the body for tens of years will cure it. Rather, it will cause new metabolic disorders, as in the case of drug treatment of Epilepsy admitted by neurosurgeon Lebedev. Where is the possibility, how to prevent any pathology of the brain at any stage of human life?
It becomes obvious that it is impossible to allow pus toxins from the sinuses of the nose to penetrate into the brain, and for this purpose it is necessary to clean the whole organism throughout life, from childhood, in case of any colds, and at the same time actively clean the sinuses by washing with water with salt and iodine, urine, injecting into the nose irritating and excreting pus juices (red beet, cyclamen, kalanchoe, etc.).etc.) In no case can not treat a child sick with a "cold" (flu, sore throat, acute respiratory infection, etc.), drugs - neither chemopreparations, nor antibiotics. It is necessary to intensively remove the accumulated toxins and toxins, washing the intestines, bathing the child several times a day, making wraps, clearing sinuses, giving the child plenty of drinking herbal concoctions with honey and lemon juice (detoxification), citrus and fruit juices, so that through the kidneys to establish the exit of toxins. And so until full recovery. Epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease and multiple sclerosis begin with the first angina, pneumonia or bronchitis. You can prevent them, but you can't cure them yet.
It should also be noted that during the treatment of acute colds (as well as viral flu or exacerbation of allergic disease in the season of flowering plants), it is necessary to abstain from any food, except fresh fruit juices, because the treatment of the disease, i.e. the destruction and removal of toxins and toxins from the body, occurs due to the activation of proteolytic enzymes of the tissues of the body, and this process is impossible with the ingestion of food and the need for its enzymatic cleavage and digestion.
And it is also useful to know that the source of pus and excessive mucus in our body are foreign animal proteins (meat and dairy products) and high-temperature processed starchy food mixed with sugar and fats (meat pies, cakes, pastries, etc.). Digestive enzymes of the human body are not able to fully break down and digest these foods. As a result, most of them rot and ferment in our digestive tract in conditions of heat, moisture and insufficient oxygen. The result of improper digestion is the absorption of toxins into the bloodstream from the intestines as the liver is unable to neutralize them completely. It is clear that in the intestines we have an abundance of the same corpse poisons formed by foreign protein products entering the stomach several times a day. Their entry into the blood and tissues leads to tissue necrosis and suppurative processes in the body (sore throat, periodontal disease, bronchitis, pneumonia, etc.). Colds and germs only cause a cleansing crisis, i.e. the clinical picture of the disease, but are not the cause of these diseases. Not to give the body the opportunity to cleanse itself to the end, and to dull the symptoms of the disease with medications means to lay the foundation for future metabolic disorders in the form of a variety of diseases, i.e. to create adaptation crises. These include osteochondrosis, tumors of various localizations, cardiovascular and nervous pathology, not to mention all skin diseases.
Thus, instead of the most complicated pharmacological and surgical research and methods of treatment, which have very little success and require huge funds (according to the doctors themselves, the device for accurate diagnosis of epilepsy costs today from 140 to 200 thousand dollars), it is necessary to observe elementary rules of hygiene of food and behavior (i.e. purification of the body in case of disease - pollution of the internal environment).
Why don't we notice all this? Because we are all prisoners of wrong ideas about food, or else prisoners of meat addiction - the "mother" of all addictions. This is what deprives people of a sober view of things, prevents them from penetrating into the essence of phenomena and leads them to false knowledge.
It should also be noted that childhood epilepsy in the initial stage is quite curable within 6-8 months of following the hygienic rules of nutrition and purification described above, because such a dietary regimen allows microcuts of connective tissue formed in the brain structures of children to completely dissolve.
